This art piece was done by Micah to honor our new prophet Russell M. Nelson! We are so grateful to be members of God's true church, even The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We rejoice in the privilege of following a true living prophet of God.

Worthy Prophet

Looking to the future with complete faith we know,
The church and God's kingdom will continue to grow.
The mantle of authority God placed upon thee,
Will guide His kingdom for you shall see,
His will, His purpose, His holy plan,
You shall be led by the Great I Am.
We now place our feet behind your light,
We will follow you and heavens sight.
Our hearts take courage and we look to see,
The will of God revealed through thee.
May you feel our prayers of love,
May you be strengthened by God above.
We rejoice in our worthy prophet so true,
We look with joy, as we look to you!

Addressing each member of the Church, the new President said, “Keep on the covenant path.”

“Your commitment to follow the Savior by making covenants with Him and then keeping those covenants will open the door to every spiritual privilege and blessing available to men, women, and children everywhere.”

The new First Presidency wants “to begin with the end in mind,” President Nelson said, and added it was for that reason they were speaking from a temple.

“The end for which each of us strives is to be endowed with a power in a house of the Lord, sealed as families—faithful to the covenants made in a temple that qualify us for the greatest gift of God, that of eternal life.”

He said ordinances and covenants of the temple are key to strengthening marriage and family and the ability to resist the attacks of the adversary. “Your worship in the temple and your service there for your ancestors will bless you with increased personal revelation and peace and will fortify your commitment to stay on the covenant path.”

He invited and pleaded with any who have stepped off that path to come back.

“Whatever your concerns, whatever your challenges, there is a place for you in this, the Lord’s Church,” he said. You and generations yet unborn will be blessed by your actions now to return to the covenant path.”

Finding Holiness

I set out to find holiness, so I turned to thee,
Humbly I repented and you set me free.
I made sacred covenants and kept each one,
I reverenced thy path and followed thy Son.

My eyes sought your words with diligent care,
I wanted to partake of all you would share.
I lived with virtue and honored thy will,
I began to stand tall with conviction and zeal.

I was careful of all I took in each day,
I sought for strength by kneeling to pray.
I consecrated my life to your holy cause,
With diligence I upheld thy sacred laws.

I heard your voice as your prophets shared light,
I rejoiced as they made thy path clear and bright.
Onward I went ever seeking for more,
As I came to you, my place was made sure.

A queen emerging from a world so dim,
Shining through Christ! Free from sin!
This miracle of new life you brought my King,
You took my shame, and healed the sting.

How beautiful the transformation of a heart made new,
How, sacred the gift I found in you.
With joy and love I raise my voice,
Grateful that you are my way, my choice!

"At baptism we covenant to serve the Lord and keep His commandments. When we partake of the sacrament, we renew that covenant and declare our willingness to take upon ourselves the name of Jesus Christ. Thereby we are adopted as His sons and daughters and are known as brothers and sisters. He is the father of our new life. Ultimately, in the holy temple, we may become joint heirs to the blessings of an eternal family, as once promised to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and their posterity. Thus, celestial marriage is the covenant of exaltation. When we realize that we are children of the covenant, we know who we are and what God expects of us. His law is written in our hearts. He is our God and we are His people.Committed children of the covenant remain steadfast, even in the midst of adversity. When that doctrine is deeply implanted in our hearts, even the sting of death is soothed and our spiritual stamina is strengthened. The greatest compliment that can be earned here in this life is to be known as a covenant keeper. The rewards for a covenant keeper will be realized both here and hereafter. Scripture declares that “ye should consider on the blessed and happy state of those that keep the commandments of God. For behold, they are blessed in all things, … and if they hold out faithful to the end they are received into heaven … [and] dwell with God in a state of never-ending happiness.” Russell M. Nelson

Bound To Joy

Binding me close with covenants divine,

Sealing me His, through obedience I shine.

Threads of devotion given each day,

Power and peace as I walk His way.

I am bound to His kingdom as I abide,

My covenants kept keep me by His side.

The peace of eternity, the threads of love,

They live in my soul as I look above.

Eyes that are focused on all that can be,

I keep His commandments and joyfully see.

How lovely the vision of heavens King,

I am bound by His love and rejoicing sing!

Hosanna, Hosanna to God and the Lamb,

I am bound to joy by the Great I Am!

Valentines of Joy

As we write valentines and share our love,
May our thoughts turn to God above.
May we ponder the greatest love of all,
Our King who saved us from our fall.

May we look in the eyes of our children and see,
The one who died to set us free.
May we ponder the strength he sends each day,
May we see our Rock our only way.

May we hold the scriptures and treasure light,
May we see His love shining bright.
May we bring to our Father a broken heart,
May we repent and choose the better part.

May we go for a moment to Gethsemane,
And see our King on bended knee.
May we understand all love is tied,
By our Redeemer who bled and died.

May we turn with pure intent,
And see our love is always sent.
Valentines of joy every day,
For our God, our Rock, our only way.
