Divine Heavenly Mother

Once in her presence, I rejoiced in her great light,
She walked and talked beside me, so beautiful and bright.
Truth she placed within me, a warriors heart and love,
My Heavenly Mother, my teacher, she guided me above.

I was hers and she was mine and love is all we knew,
My holy Mother of light and power, so beautiful and true!
The attributes of divinity were perfect in her soul,
To see her was to witness a true and worthy goal!

Billions of years passed and I grew from her light,
Her strength became a part of me, radiant and bright!
A dream a wish ran through me, to one day be like her,
To stand for truth and righteousness my feet ever sure.

Born into my mortal life a shadow filled my days,
The enemy of righteousness sought to guide my ways.
Stumbling and falling I searched for a way free,
Reaching out from heaven, my Mother called to me.

You'll find your power and light as you learn of your dear King,
The attributes of divinity is the truth that He did bring!
Go my daughter and seek Him for as you find Him you will see,
The light of your dear Savior is guiding you to me.

So I searched and found, Faith, Hope and love,
Mercy and forgiveness a way to God above.
Each value that I learned helped me to reach my goal.
The colors like rainbow bright within my soul!

At last I entered the holy Temple and stood in pure white,
Through the grace of my Redeemer I was now radiant and bright.
Kneeling before the altar I saw my Mother's light in me,
As I made sacred covenants and began my family tree.

Soon within my arms was my daughter pure and divine,
I thought of my Heavenly Mother as I saw her spirit shine.
My heart called out to hers, don't worry I'll show the way,
I'll guide you to the Master, we will learn and grow and pray.

Looking up toward heaven I smiled, for I knew,
I was becoming like my Mother, devoted pure and true.
My feet were sure and faithful, my heart ever kind,
The work of my family was at the forefront of my mind.

Gently I heard a voice say, I have a dream, a wish, a goal,
To see my daughter home again, a radiant worthy soul!
Softly I answered, I want to be worthy to stand again with you,
To laugh and smile and share the love, that together we once knew!

Thank you my dear Heavenly Mother for the light you placed in me,
Thank you for my Savior born to set me free!
Thank you for answered prayers, and angels sent with care,
Thank you for heavens guidance, for all the love you share!

The Prayer

Behold Thy Mother

This talk is so very beautiful. Jeffrey R. Holland is a wonderful apostle of God and he always speaks with an intensity of emotion and holy light that touches my heart. At the close of his message he said "To all of our mothers everywhere, past, present, or future, I say, “Thank you. Thank you for giving birth, for shaping souls, for forming character, and for demonstrating the pure love of Christ.” To Mother Eve, to Sarah, Rebekah, and Rachel, to Mary of Nazareth, and to a Mother in Heaven, I say, “Thank you for your crucial role in fulfilling the purposes of eternity.” To all mothers in every circumstance, including those who struggle—and all will—I say, “Be peaceful. Believe in God and yourself. You are doing better than you think you are. In fact, you are saviors on Mount Zion, and like the Master you follow, your love ‘never faileth.” I can pay no higher tribute to anyone."

My Daughter

How precious a gift I was sent from above,
A small precious baby for me to love.
Wrapped up in pink with a bow in her hair,
My sister from Heaven lying there.
My eyes fill with tears as I look at her face,
So perfect and precious in this unsure place.
I wonder in my heart if I am enough,
For this precious child sent from above.
The hours the days the years come and go,
My daughter has grown into the women I know;
I look at her now so mature and smart,
I remember that day when we made our start.
How precious a gift I was sent from above,
A beautiful daughter for me to love.
Now standing in white with a veil in her hair,
My sister from Heaven is worthy and fair.
My eyes fill with tears as I look at her face,
So perfect and precious in this sacred place.
I smile so happy she has chosen her Father above,
She will live forever wrapped in his love,
I will stand by her and we will have joy,
Eternal happiness that none can destroy.
