When Satan chucks a fiery dart, then stands back with a grin,
I place my shield in front of me and know that I can win.
When all his darkened army combine to hedge the way,
I blast them with a faithful prayer and stand another day.
When the miserable man who lost everything seeks to lower all I am,
I quirk my brow in disbelief and with my Father stand.
He then recruits from his mortal ranks to push me toward a fall.
Discouraged by his lame attempt I still stand straight and tall.
I take the hits he sends me and endure through the grace of God,
I know my strength is unconquerable for my feet are gospel shod.
Satan stands for evil, he fights for his own cause,
I stand with my Savior and hold the iron rod.
This war began in heaven and so it rages on,
He who has lost everything will see that I'm still strong.
As I grow in power he diminishes before my eyes,
I look and see him clearly, I see only sin and lies.
My eyes then turn toward heaven and I smile at the Son,
He gave His life freely that my victory could be won!

The outcome is decided, in the end Satan will be cast out,
The righteous will rejoice, with a faithful triumphant shout!

I love this song and the video that goes with it! I love seeing the women break free and overcome adversity, discouragement and their own personal struggles. The message of the song is powerful!

The definition for invincible is: incapable of being defeated; unconquerable

I testify that we can be invincible! We can gain the needed power to overcome the enemy by obeying the commandments of God, keeping our covenants, relying on the grace of our Savior, praying, studying the scriptures, following the Holy Ghost and serving in the temple. The power we need to become invincible is available to us. We can access it by doing the will of God. He can send the blessings and power that will fortify us against our enemy. The war we are fighting is real and the enemy is powerful. Fiery darts will fly but we can withstand them through Christ our King! In Doctrine and Covenants 27 we read; "Wherefore, lift up your hearts and rejoice, and gird up your loins, and take upon you my whole armor, that ye may be able to withstand the evil day, having done all, that ye may be able to stand. Stand, therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, having on the breastplate of righteousness, and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace, which I have sent mine angels to commit unto you; Taking the shield of faith wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked; And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of my Spirit, which I will pour out upon you, and my word which I reveal unto you, and be agreed as touching all things whatsoever ye ask of me, and be faithful until I come, and ye shall be caught up, that where I am ye shall be also. Amen." I testify that we can be invincible as we follow our Savior Jesus Christ faithfully! May we do so that where He is we may be eternally!

I chose to share this clip from The Labyrinth because it demonstrates beautifully that the enemy has no power over us unless we give it to him. I also think it is interesting that he was offering her absolutely nothing. This is like Satan and his empty offer. He has nothing to give us, He is miserable and wants to take everything from us. I love when Sara realizes that he has no power over her. The enemy was shattered when she found that simple truth. A powerful reminder to each of us.

In Matthew chapter 4 we read, " Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him." The Savior of the world withstood the enemy of lies and his empty offer. We can do the same thing every single day! I am so grateful that as I battle to overcome the enemy of lies that my dear friend and Savior Jesus Christ adds strength and power to me!:)

Advice from Elder Busche!

I am very grateful for the light and truth shared by Elder Busche! I am grateful for the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ! I rejoice in the hope I have because of my Savior's atoning sacrifice! Brothers and sisters we can win the battle against evil! We can overcome the enemy and come of conqueror!:)
