What was thought wrong years ago, is now commonplace. Behavior has declined, for every creed and race. Don't say their wrong, don't disagree, don't offend their way of life. Your religion is outmoded. It can only bring us strife. So sin can swirl around, unchecked by what is right. But I have always believed that storms were thought a fright. But maybe that's the reason you tell me to hush up? My religion pricks your pride because you know you should clean up. How grateful I am for the laws of God. So sure, so strong, so true. They remain unchanged forever, they show me what to do. These laws are my safe harbor against the blows of lower men. I'll never bend I'll never break-forever and amen.

One Nation Under God
With Hand on Heart
One nation under God we declare with hand on heart, One nation full of people dissented from their part. One nation that refuses to follow the God that gave them life, One nation that passes laws abominable in His sight. If Sodom was destroyed for less sin than today, We ought to shake and tremble, for God’s hand we cannot stay. What God declares wrong, is wrong and none can deny, Yet abortion and gay marriage are a banner flying high. We wave it in God’s face and soon in fury He will come, And cleanse this earth from wickedness and see this evil undone. All those who stood with Satan will then be locked away, Their choice of immoral depravity will not stand on that great day. Our world will then be ruled by our King and God so dear, Only the sanctified and the faithful will live in joy and cheer. With hand on heart, in that great day, we will kneel before our King, And praise Him for the peace that His truth and justice bring!

If Nobody Believed In You
Clearly there are many faithful saints that believe in our Savior Jesus Christ. The world however in great number has turned from the Lord. The decline in our country and its standards is alarming. Abraham Lincoln said: " I am not bound to win, but I am bound to be true. I am not bound to succeed, but I am bound to live by the light that I have. I must stand with anybody that stands right, and stand with him while he is right, and part with him when he goes wrong. " His words capture a truth that I echo today. I stand apart from a declining world as I give voice to my testimony and live what I believe.
Stand in Holy Places
I am grateful for my membership in The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! I find safe harbor in a declining world as I stand with my Savior and his living prophet Thomas S. Monson. I am grateful for all the apostles of God that stand as beacons amid the storm of a failing world. I rejoice in the sure knowledge I have that my Savior will return. I look with joy to the day when Jesus Christ returns to rule and reign! It is my hope and prayer to live worthy to stand with Him at that great day.
Elections Hope, and Freedom
This devotional address was powerful and inspiring! I am thankful for Dallin H. Oaks; his testimony and counsel before the election is a blessing of light and truth!
